Gigi is a neighborhood Dining Room situated in the heart of Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6.
The restaurant is run by passionate duo Giorgio & Giorgio, hence the name Gigi.
We serve authentic Italian staple food where we humbly stand-back and let our excellent produce take centre stage.
This is at the heart of our Credo; the heroes here are the farmer, the cheese-maker, the salumaio, the eggs of a happy free range chicken, which we use to make our fresh daily hand-made pasta: good flour, eggs, water, nothing else needed but experienced hands and time.
Our focal point is the Antipasto-Bar, where everything is freshly sliced to compose our “Taglieri” boards, made from Irish Beech tree.
Parma Ham aged 19 months, which is thinly sliced or hand-sliced, various salamis and capricious “Assaggi” of cheeses, frittata, crusty sourdough crostini and more.
All our sandwiches (Lunch-time) and all our Taglieri Boards are sliced to order, a great visual delight for all our customers and passers-by alike.
We are very proud of our excellent Italian wine list which has been carefully chosen by our Sommelier, Riccardo.
We welcome all our guests to relax, unwind, enjoy, and above all have fun in our “Piccolo” Dining Room.
Your Hosts,
Giorgio & Giorgio
